The "alphabet soup" behind Tim´s name signals the kind of guy he is. Those accreditations did not come easily and are a result of countless classroom hours and money Tim invested in order to stay on top in the Real Estate Profession and for the benefit of his customers and clients. In his over twenty years as a real estate Broker, Tim has helped hundreds of people successfully buy and sell properties.
 
Tim grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is a graduate of the University of NC at Chapel Hill and also received an MBA from Georgia State University. Upon graduation, he began a career with a large corporation in sales and marketing but not before marrying Beth Curry, an Atlanta native and who he met in college. Moves were made to Atlanta, Georgia, Houston, Texas and Cincinnati, Ohio. After corporate life, Tim built homes for a few years and then operated a large contractor lumber company on Hilton Head Island, SC. In the mid 1980´s, Tim and Beth moved to Greensboro, NC where Tim became heavily involved in real estate as a broker until their final move to Tryon , NC in 2000.

Tim has specialized in nearly all of the conventional types of real estate: residential, commercial, subdivision development, investment, and land. He is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) of which fewer than 6% of NC Realtors hold this designation. He also is an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR). Tim´s interest in land has led him to be active with the NC Chapter of the Realtors Land Institute of which he has served as President. He is also an Accredited Land Consultant (ALC), a highly sought after designation that very few Realtors in NC have achieved. All of this gives credence to the reason why Tim has been so successful and professional in helping his clients achieve their objective.  When Tim was with a RE/MAX in Greensboro, NC, he attained the RE/MAX Hall of Fame and achieved the Platinum level of sales production for each of his last four years.

On a personal side, Tim has always been active in community organizations where he has lived: Rotary, Kiwanis. He has played the Cello since childhood and is presently a member of the Symphony Orchestra of Rutherford County. He and Beth have two grown children; a son living in Seoul, Korea and a daughter living near Brevard, NC.
